Dubai or Dubayy refers to either The United Arab Emirate’s Dubai Metro is a fully automated driverless metro network. While multiple lines are planned, the Red and Green Lines are currently under construction and will run underground in the city centre and on elevated viaducts elsewhere. The Dubai Metro will be the longest fully automated rail system in the world when it opens on 09-09-09!

The trains and stations will be air conditioned with platform edge doors to make this possible.
